About Onyx & The Krafted Journey

Before Krafted Customs by KLROSE came to life, there was KARTER L’Rose Candle Co. a faith-driven, hand-poured candle brand I started in my kitchen in 2019. What began as a small creative outlet quickly grew beyond my wildest dreams. Within a year, I was blessed to move from my kitchen to a 2,000-square-foot warehouse, where I poured, packed, and shipped candles full-time for more than four years.

Through that season, thousands of people followed my journey (thank you so much if you’re still here with me from those days!)  From late nights labeling vessels on my countertop, to launching subscription boxes and expanding into full production… that business taught me the meaning of community, consistency, and how much light a small spark can create.

Then life changed. After a difficult battle with fibroids and other health challenges that led to a hysterectomy, I needed to slow down. Around that same time, I faced unimaginable personal loss, the passing of my brother in 2021 and my sister-in-law before him. Those moments shifted everything. My body, my nervous system, and my heart all needed space to heal.

But creativity has always been my therapy. Somewhere in the midst of resting, I began designing small custom projects for my daughter’s cheer team, for her teachers, and for family events. What started as little love projects turned into something much bigger,  a new way to pour purpose into people’s lives.

That’s how Krafted Customs by KLROSE was born. It’s more than just custom merch and event design,  it’s a brand built on faith, family, and the belief that creativity can be healing. From local schools and cheer teams to milestone celebrations and corporate events, every piece I make carries a story, a purpose, and a touch of heart.

Today, Krafted Customs has expanded into a full creative ecosystem: The Krafted Life, Krafted Kitchen, and more, each a reflection of the same love, resilience, and craftsmanship that began back in my kitchen.

Because even though the medium has changed, the mission never has:

to create beauty, inspire joy, and remind others that no dream is too big when it’s crafted with a K.
